Thanks to your kindness, my students now have access to Scholastic News—a resource that has truly transformed our classroom! Each issue has brought science and social studies to life in exciting, meaningful ways. The articles connect directly to real-world events, helping my students see how what they learn in school applies to the world around them.\r\n\r\nEvery week, my students eagerly look forward to reading the latest edition. They love exploring new topics, discussing current issues, and sharing their thoughts with one another. Beyond learning new content, Scholastic News has also helped strengthen their reading skills—especially in summarizing, identifying key details, and using text evidence to support their answers. It's incredible to see them so engaged and motivated to learn!\r\n\r\nYour generosity has made a lasting impact on both their academic growth and their enthusiasm for learning. I use them to help students identify and expand their emotion vocabulary, which has led to more meaningful discussions about feelings and self-regulation. These hands-on tools make abstract emotional concepts more concrete and engaging for my students, supporting their growth in communication and emotional awareness.\r\nThe sensory tent and body sock are now part of our sensory room, a space where classes take daily sensory breaks to support regulation and readiness for learning.
