They couldn't wait to explore! The games and dice have quickly become a favorite during our teamwork blocks, and have completely transformed our math time. What used to be routine practice now feels like a fun challenge, as students use the dice for fact fluency games, probability investigations, and small group math centers.\r\n\r\nThese tools have brought new energy into our classroom. Students are learning to take turns, communicate clearly, and solve problems together, whether they're strategizing in a board game or using dice to roll and solve math equations. We're now planning to integrate these materials into academic review sessions across multiple subjects, blending social-emotional learning with core content. Encouraging literacy in kids these days, with social media and constant screen stimulation, can be really difficult. As a result of this, literacy has been an uphill battle in our schools for the past few years. That is why getting these books that inspire my kids to read has made such an impact on my students' lives.\r\n\r\nIn our classroom we have been using these books in a few different ways. In addition to the students having access to the books to read in school or take home, I have also been selecting individual books and reading them aloud in the classroom to inspire students to pursue books in a similar topic or series. These read-alouds have been incredibly helpful in students regulating themselves after recess and lunch. Additionally, my kids genuinely enjoy being read to.\r\n\r\nThank you so much for your donation to my classroom. Because of your donation of cups and a water pitcher, we have been able to both keep the students hydrated, and have access to water for our art. \r\n\r\nEven small donations have been incredibly impactful on our classroom success. It has only been a week, but the students are already in the swing of things, and this is very much due to your donation. Even things as simple as the colored circle stickers have been helpful in labeling our books so that my third and fourth graders are able to find stories that are at an appropriate reading level. \r\n\r\nAdditionally, the students are super excited to use the learning games that were purchased with your donations!
