As soon as packages started to come in, students were so curious about this new addition to our classroom.\r\n\r\nMy students have really loved getting to spend time in the calm corner, and it has already supported the emotional wellbeing of many students (which you can see for yourself by looking at the rug lol). In particular, the bean bag chair and the stress relief toys have been huge hits among my classes! It's been so meaningful to see students recognize and address their emotional needs in a responsible and appropriate way.\r\n\r\nI am looking forward to continue to decorate and add to the corner, and to implementing classroom procedures to further encourage use of the calm corner.
