Your kindness and support mean so much to our classroom community. With these headphones, my students will be able to engage in lessons with fewer distractions, focus more deeply on their work, and fully participate in online learning activities. They will also be able to work at their own pace during reading, math, and language programs, which will help meet each child's unique learning needs.\r\n\r\nYour gift will have a lasting impact on our students' education. For many of them, this will be their first opportunity to use high-quality headphones on a daily basis, allowing them to experience lessons more clearly and confidently. Beyond academics, these headphones give my students the gift of independence and a greater sense of ownership over their learning. On behalf of my students and myself, thank you for investing in their futures and believing in the potential of every child in our classroom.","fullyFundedDate":1746785629795,"projectUrl":"project/headphones-for-third-grade/9130391/","projectTitle":"Headphones for Third Grade","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Marsh","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9799300_orig.jpg?crop=1091,1091,x0,y14&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1740512752872","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9799300"},{"teacherId":9421067,"projectId":8881121,"letterContent":"On behalf of my 29 fourth-grade students, I want to thank you for your generous contribution in providing our special ducky math incentives. Thanks to your support, I have witnessed a remarkable transformation in my students' engagement and achievement in math.\r\n\r\nYour thoughtful donation has sparked a level of motivation that I had hoped for but didn't anticipate to this extent. My students were so excited when we received the ducky math incentives, and it has made a huge difference in their enthusiasm to tackle new math challenges. In fact, since we received the duckies on December 9th, they've completed an impressive total of 354 math lessons, surpassing all expectations! \r\n\r\nThis accomplishment is a testament to the power of encouragement and positive reinforcement. With your support, you've not only inspired their success in math but have also shown them the importance of hard work and perseverance. Your generosity is making a lasting impact on their education, and for that, we are incredibly thankful.\r\n\r\nThank you again for your incredible kindness and for being a part of students' academic journey. We are truly lucky to have supporters like you who make such a difference in the lives of young learners.","fullyFundedDate":1733280434842,"projectUrl":"project/duckies-love-math-too/8881121/","projectTitle":"Duckies Love Math Too!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Ledesma","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9421067_orig.jpg?crop=651,651,x0,y455&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1734740461969","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9421067"},{"teacherId":9421067,"projectId":8852836,"letterContent":"I teach 4th grade, but the reading abilities for my students range from 1st to 6th grade. The book titles we received, from your generous donation, are 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade level. \r\n\r\nWe use Accelerated Reader which is a computer based program where students can take comprehension tests on the fiction and nonfiction books they read. Students earn points for reading quizzes they pass. Students read books at their independent reading level or above. Points are earned based on the length of the book, not reading level. This helps to motivate students to read, regardless of their reading level at the start of the school year. Points work as follows: a picture book is worth half a point, a short chapter book 1 point, a longer chapter book 2 points or more, and so on. \r\n\r\nMy entire class was so excited about our new books! The majority of my students were able to reach their 1st trimester reading goals and they collectively read over 5 million words by the end of the 1st trimester.
