The lessons in this program are highly engaging and thought provoking. There have been many times where I have seen students who are not interested in writing or reading suddenly take a huge interest in note-taking and researching because their curiosity has been sparked. So many of these lessons allow students to ask questions, explore interesting phenomena, and use hands-on learning to explore complicated concepts. \r\n\r\nWith Mystery Science, my students come alive. Students who struggle with other subjects tend to find Mystery Science accessible and fun to navigate. Students who excel at academics find the lessons give lots of chances to extend their learning. I am often told students really enjoy coming to my STEAM class, and I think that is in large part due to the robust lessons I use from Mystery Science. I am so glad I will be able to continue using it for the next two years.","fullyFundedDate":1746497750888,"projectUrl":"project/science-and-engineering-comes-alive-with/9260539/","projectTitle":"Science and Engineering Comes Alive with Mystery Science (K-5)","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Bisbee","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp6697829_orig.jpg?crop=1894,1894,x239,y456&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1645110739449","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/vargassteam"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_124536","usesÐǿմ«Ã½":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":348,"numTeachers":null,"percentFrplEligible":25,"percentAsian":29,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":23,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":31,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":null,"demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_SMALL"},"inStateSupporters":92.0,"schoolId":124536,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Jose Antonio Vargas Elementary School on @Ðǿմ«Ã½:","schoolName":"Jose Antonio Vargas Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/california/mountain-view-whisman-school-district/jose-antonio-vargas-elementary-school/124536"}
