These new books will help my students access classic texts in new and exciting ways. Without the distraction of our books falling apart, my students can focus on the content in each book and analyze important themes, characters, and main ideas in each of these classic works of literature. From there, they will use The Odyssey graphic novels to compare Bilbo and Odysseus as heroes. At the end of the year, they will use the new copies of Romeo and Juliet to reflect on the poetic elements of Shakespeare's original language. \r\nThank you for making this all possible!","fullyFundedDate":1734454974420,"projectUrl":"project/books-that-wont-quit-on-my-students/8994104/","projectTitle":"Books That Won't Quit On My Students!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Chrisp","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7830193_orig.jpg?crop=1910,1910,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1619844800025","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7830193"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_74536","usesÐǿմ«Ã½":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":503,"numTeachers":22,"percentFrplEligible":72,"percentAsian":1,"percentBlack":1,"percentWhite":15,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":80,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"9 - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"22.9:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"RURAL","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_DISTANT"},"inStateSupporters":81.0,"schoolId":74536,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Pierce High School on @Ðǿմ«Ã½:","schoolName":"Pierce High School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/california/pierce-joint-unified-school-district/pierce-high-school/74536"}
