We've also created a special mini book rack for upcoming read-alouds that we enjoy together as a class.\r\n\r\nNearby, we've begun our observations with the live caterpillars and are now eagerly waiting for the chrysalises to hatch! We set up observation stations where students work together to journal and share what they notice. Because of you, my 5th grade students now have access to engaging, high-quality grammar resources that connect directly to the novels we read and the history and science topics we study. Instead of practicing skills in isolation, students are now identifying parts of speech, correcting capitalization, and applying grammar rules within meaningful, content-based texts. This shift has made a noticeable difference—students are more engaged, more confident, and more willing to take risks in their writing.\r\n\r\nYour support has helped transform grammar instruction into something relevant and purposeful. My students are beginning to see how strong language skills help them communicate their ideas clearly across all subjects, from explaining scientific concepts to writing about historical events.
