The students were so excited when I shared that all of the art supplies were donated to us by kind and generous people from our community and from far away! \r\n\r\nThe students created winter trees using the new oil pastels. It was so fun to see how each tree was so unique.\r\n\r\nWe made winter tree sun catchers using the new tissue paper; tearing different colors into strips and layering them behind the tree stencil. The kids were VERY excited to use the brand new watercolor sets to paint wax resistant snowflakes. The kids were able to take home all of their winter projects to share and enjoy with their families over the break! \r\n\r\nI am really excited to return to school this week. We will be learning about letter R. I can't wait for the kids to paint rainbows using our watercolor sets and our brand new paint sticks!\r\n\r\nEvery item from this project is being put to great use and the students are loving the opportunity to create art using such a variety of supplies. \r\n\r\nThank you for funding this project and for your generosity!","fullyFundedDate":1764708615804,"projectUrl":"project/every-child-is-an-artist/9750996/","projectTitle":"Every Child is An Artist!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Litvinchuk","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp2277452_orig.jpg?crop=1821,1821,x1266,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1720549611205","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/2277452"},{"teacherId":2277452,"projectId":9443222,"letterContent":"My kindergarten students were so excited to receive their new whiteboards for our daily literacy and math practice. \r\n\r\nI shared with the students about Donors Choose and how several very kind and generous people that we don't even know care about their learning and bought the whiteboards for our classroom!\r\n\r\nI immediately noticed how much easier the smaller, lightweight boards were for the students to manage and hold. They are perfect for small hands and beginning writers. The boards fit so nicely in their chair pockets that hold their supplies. \r\n\r\nIn our classroom we do daily practice spelling the sounds that we've learned as well as writing their \"heart\" words that are irregular.
