I really appreciate the donations. The bookshelves are being used daily by my students. Our school is very big on AR level reading and quizzes. I was able to organize all the books in level order to make it easier and more accessible for all students. Students know their AR level and they can easily go look for books. Also our class is a Dual Language classroom. The bookshelves have helped me separate the books by languages as well.\r\n\r\nThe day I told my students that we had the shelves fully funded they were extremely excited. Once they saw them in the classroom they asked me daily when they would be able to access the library. Once they saw it completely done, they were very happy and excited to start checking out books. \r\n\r\nThe next steps for my students and this project is that my students will now be able to access books their level. Due to this they will be able to meet their AR goals because they will be reading books that are at their level. This will not only help them meet their AR goals but it will also build their fluency and comprehension. Once again thank you for the support!","fullyFundedDate":1761938596300,"projectUrl":"project/shelf-help-giving-our-books-a-home/9591448/","projectTitle":"Shelf Help: Giving Our Books a Home","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Suarez","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10175583_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1756275479362","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10175583"},{"teacherId":9607592,"projectId":9500579,"letterContent":"I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude for your generous support in helping supply Benchmark Language Arts books for our 5th grade students. Your contribution has made a meaningful difference in our classroom. Because of your kindness, my students, who are mostly ELL learners, now have access to high-quality, engaging texts that will strengthen their reading comprehension, vocabulary, and overall confidence as learners.\r\n\r\nThese materials are essential to helping students grow as critical thinkers and effective communicators. Your generosity ensures that every child—regardless of their circumstances—has the tools they need to succeed. The excitement on their faces when they received their books said it all.
