Although, I did have to explain that the wipes that the students use to clean tables and hands are indeed baby wipes. Apparently, that bothered one of the students, she clearly stated that she \"is not a baby!\" That is so true, my students are maturing so much and it's exciting to see how far they have come this year. It was a big jump to go from four year olds with no school experience to five year olds getting ready for Kindergarten. \r\n\r\nWe learn to be responsible for our supplies in TK! That means we clean up after ourselves, and these items in this project help ease that transition. We have developed routines to help us stay clean and healthy, with hand sanitizer bottles are stationed around the room and are routinely used multiple times a day. The kids also clean up independently, wiping up paint and chalk, and helping clean their tables with baby wipes. The wipes also come in handy when scrubbing off glue sticks that accidently gets onto the tables. \r\n\r\nWe already used half the glue sticks that arrived in this package in our writing center and when doing projects. We loved using our special pink construction paper when we made Valentine's for our families. We also updated the art work that hangs around the classroom, so those new clips really came in handy. The clothes pin style is so much quicker to change than the binder clips that I was using. Plus I like how they look displaying the student's artwork, I hope you check them out in my attached pictures.\r\n\r\nThe zipper pouches have replaced my damaged and old, and hard to open/close puzzle boxes. Some of the unused pouches I've been able to help organize my teaching supplies and games for the students. \r\n\r\nThank you again for helping my students with your generosity in donating to this project. Because of you, our classroom will be better organized and more supportive for our students.\r\n\r\nWith the clipboard holders, drawer carts, 3-tier cart, whiteboard marker organizer, and poly zipper pouches you helped provide, we'll be able to create a more efficient, student-friendly space. And for me, having the whiteboard markers all in one place (instead of searching all over!) is going to be a huge help.\r\n\r\nSome of the original items were out of stock, which gave us the opportunity to add a few other awesome classroom tools. We were able to get a copy of I Promise by LeBron James — a class favorite — along with an iPad arm to help with instruction, post-its for student responses, foam dice for learning games, and fun classroom stamps to celebrate student effort and progress.\r\n\r\nWe are also incredibly grateful for the social-emotional learning tools and sensory materials. These resources will support our students' emotional well-being and give them tools to manage stress, stay focused, and feel calm and confident throughout the day.\r\n\r\nThanks again for believing in our classroom and supporting our students. My students benefit so much by seeing realistic colors on our activities, rather than black and white. Next I'm going to cut out this ice cream uppercase and lowercase letter sorting game so I can laminate and create a matching activity. I also printed out new nametags that included student's names and pictures on them for our writing center to help with their letter formation and handwriting. \r\nMy classroom is bright and colorful, which makes it so engaging.
