Your donation has made a tremendous impact in creating a classroom environment that promotes deeper thinking, collaboration, and active learning in mathematics. With the addition of vertical whiteboards, we have transformed the way students engage with mathematical concepts.\r\n\r\nThe vertical whiteboards have proven to be a game-changer for student engagement. Students are now able to work together in a more dynamic and interactive way, solving problems in real-time and sharing their ideas openly. This hands-on, collaborative approach has ignited a sense of excitement and ownership over their learning. Instead of passively listening, students are more involved, discussing, debating, and explaining their thinking to peers—key skills that will benefit them well beyond the classroom.\r\n\r\nThe setup has also made it much easier for me to support my students individually and as a group. The boards allow me to circulate the room and instantly see where students may be struggling or excelling. I can provide immediate feedback, address misunderstandings on the spot, and offer more targeted support to each student. This personalized attention has had a measurable impact on their understanding and confidence.\r\n\r\nPerhaps most importantly, the open and flexible nature of the classroom has fostered a collaborative atmosphere where every student feels encouraged to contribute. The space encourages a community of learners, where students are not afraid to make mistakes, ask questions, and build on each other's ideas. It's truly become a safe environment for exploration and growth.\r\n\r\nYour investment in this project is making a lasting difference in the lives of my students, and I can't thank you enough for making it possible. Together, we are building a classroom culture where every student is empowered to think critically, engage deeply, and succeed in mathematics.","fullyFundedDate":1729800246165,"projectUrl":"project/support-a-cstem-teacher/8851422/","projectTitle":"Support a Cstem Teacher","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. DeBritz","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-2_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9620503"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_5057","usesÐǿմ«Ã½":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":1619,"numTeachers":77,"percentFrplEligible":45,"percentAsian":19,"percentBlack":15,"percentWhite":21,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":25,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"9 - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"21.0:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_MIDSIZE"},"inStateSupporters":86.5,"schoolId":5057,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Vanden High School on @Ðǿմ«Ã½:","schoolName":"Vanden High School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/california/travis-unified-school-district/vanden-high-school/5057"}
