Students are very excited to learn how to use the hygiene items appropriately, and many take pride in practicing these self-care skills. In my office, students especially enjoy using the fidgets and tangible items during sessions, which helps them feel more relaxed, engaged, and open to talking about their feelings.\r\nThe students were very excited and curious when they first saw the materials. Many of them had never seen or used some of these items before, so they were eager to explore and learn how they work. Parents have also expressed gratitude, sharing how helpful these resources have been for their children. The positive reactions showed just how meaningful and needed these materials are.\r\nThe next steps are to continue providing mental health services while using these donated items to support engagement and comfort. These resources will help create a safe, welcoming space where students feel more at ease, able to relate, and ready to participate in counseling activities. Moving forward, we will keep integrating these tools into sessions to strengthen coping skills, emotional expression, and overall well-being.","fullyFundedDate":1763474781097,"projectUrl":"project/the-essentials-for-empowerment/9489274/","projectTitle":"The Essentials for Empowerment!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Hurtado","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10088226_orig.png?crop=684,684,x620,y185&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1766035398884","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10088226"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_79680","usesÐǿմ«Ã½":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":346,"numTeachers":21,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":0,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":98,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 4","studentTeacherRatio":"16.5:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_FRINGE"},"inStateSupporters":67.9,"schoolId":79680,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Vineland Elementary School on @Ðǿմ«Ã½:","schoolName":"Vineland Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/california/vineland-elementary-school-district/vineland-elementary-school/79680"}
