I am so excited to share how your donations are already making a difference in our classroom!\r\n\r\nMy first graders were overjoyed when they saw the new materials. Their eyes lit up when they realized the markers were brand new, and washable! We dove right into our self-portrait project, and they took such care in choosing their colors and organizing the markers in our new color bins. It was a beautiful moment of creativity and pride.\r\n\r\nOne of the biggest changes we've felt is in our cozy and calm Peace Corner, thanks to the carpet you donated. It has truly transformed that space. Now, when students are feeling overwhelmed or just need a moment to regroup, they have a warm, soft place to sit. \r\n\r\nWe've also started using the donated prizes as part of our classroom reward system. It's been a powerful tool for reinforcing positive behavior and building a strong, respectful classroom community. The students are so motivated!\r\n\r\nThank you for being part of our journey. Instead of only seeing a picture, they could touch and manipulate real items representing the beginning sound of each letter. This added dimension brought excitement and deeper understanding to our lessons, especially for our young learners who thrive through tactile experiences.\r\n\r\nIn addition, each child received a small bag of plastic letters to take home to engage in playful learning with their families—sorting, identifying, and practicing at their own pace.
