We have sectioned the books into thematic units tied to our state standards and units of learning to allow students rich extended resources for individual and class exploration. \r\nMany students have independently read the books and we have read 6 of the books so far as a whole class. We have had rich discussions about many diverse groups including Native Americans on Indigenous People's Day and we plan to use several of the books during Black History Month. \r\nOur class so appreciates the resources you have provided for us.
