It is awesome seeing the students being set up for success at the beginning of each class. Every item is appreciated each and every day!\r\n\r\nThe students are using the Kleenexes, pencils and folders every day. Students are using the colorful post it notes biweekly to make goals for the classroom and to keep track of missing work. They are using the colorful pens to do self grading on their work. It makes them feel happy to see not a dreaded red color on their papers. The students use the rulers for fun projects including a circular park project and house project. My Personal Finance class loves learning about the importance of budgets, career choices and pay scales, students loans, car loans and insurance. Your donation has sparked excitement and appreciation towards learning.\r\n\r\nThank you again very much for making education a priority and letting every student start class with the essentials.","fullyFundedDate":1755521820645,"projectUrl":"project/finding-the-color-in-math/9545315/","projectTitle":"Finding the Color in Math","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Chelsey Miller","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8184924_orig.jpg?crop=3024,3024,x0,y221&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1665664528779","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8184924"},{"teacherId":8184924,"projectId":8561757,"letterContent":"Thank you very much for providing classroom and math supplies. The visual Time Timer is essential to keep us on track - showing visually how much time is left for support or small groups, easing transitions and reduces stress. Calm strips have been such a helpful addition too— I can give these to students struggling with worry or anxiety. Many students attach them to their desk or device and access them during class when they need a quick moment to regulate. It's been wonderful seeing how these small tools empower them to manage their emotions more independently.\r\n\r\nAnd we can't thank you enough for the liquid floor tiles—they're a *huge* hit with both students and staff! Kids are naturally drawn to them, and even adults can't help but stop and step on them. The colorful, shifting patterns are not only fun to look at, but they provide calming sensory input that helps students refocus and stay grounded. I've set them in my office entrance. Students (and staff!) will step in just to step on the tiles, providing opportunities for building rapport and a quick check-ins! With one kindergarten group, they are our \"magic doorway\" into our group time. Your support has truly made a difference by giving our students access to engaging tools that promote self-regulation, focus, and emotional well-being throughout the day—thank you!","fullyFundedDate":1695507558569,"projectUrl":"project/timers-sensory-tools-and-calming-corne/7740610/","projectTitle":"Timers, Sensory Tools, and Calming Corners!
