Teaching can be really tough, so having people who are willing to donate day to day items to my classroom really means the world. It is crucial for students to have access to things like headphones and expo markers, but families in certain areas are not always able to provide these things. These tools are used every day in our classroom and help us with math, writing, and learning online. \r\n Additionally, the SEL books such as \"My Body Sends A Signal\" have been wonderful for read- alouds. Students enjoy being able to identify with the characters and discuss how we can keep our bodies calm at school. The sight word flashcards have been wonderful for my intervention groups! We are learning a lot of words and using them in our writing.
