We have enjoyed using our new art supplies more than we can possibly express, and your gift has already created so many joyful, meaningful moments for our students.\r\n\r\nOne of our favorite projects so far has been with our kindergarteners, who used the Kwik Stix to create beautiful rainbow-colored nameplates. Each child carefully added their own special kindergarten \"signature,\" turning these into treasured keepsakes that families will take home at kindergarten graduation. The pride on their faces as they worked and admired their finished pieces was truly priceless. They turned out absolutely adorable.\r\n\r\nWe have also been painting winter reindeer using the tempera paint pucks, and the colors are incredibly vivid and bright. The liquid watercolors have been especially wonderful for kindergarten because they last longer and allow students to explore color more freely without worrying about running out. The quality of these materials has made a noticeable difference in both the process and the final artwork.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the new supplies, they were so excited. They were thrilled not only to have new materials, but to dive right in and start creating. The new brushes, paint sticks, and paint palettes quickly became favorites, bringing bold, vibrant color and fresh energy into our classroom art time.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, we are excited to continue building on this creative momentum. Next semester, students will explore texture brushes as they create winter backgrounds for their winter town projects. We will also be diving into bold, mixed-media octopus artworks that promise to be imaginative, hands-on, and so much fun for our young artists.\r\n\r\nYour support has opened the door to creativity, confidence, and joyful learning for our students. That moment alone, watching confidence awaken in real time was the truest impact. \r\n\r\nAs a result of the generosity from the donors our classroom has become a joyful workshop of movement, color, and collaboration. Students have designed spiraling marble pathways, built bridges taller than themselves, and created whole \"engineering teams\" who troubleshoot, test, and celebrate together. \r\nI have watched shy students open up as leaders, energetic students learn patience, and hesitant thinkers light up when their marble finally completes a run they engineered themselves. These materials haven't just sparked creativity. Although, paper and organizers may seem a little off pace as far as STEAM supplies go, EVERYTHING we received was exactly what we needed. \r\n\r\nWhen these boxes arrived filled to the brim with fresh paper and vibrant colors it felt like someone had opened a window and let a little more light into our day! I gathered them around and told them these gifts came from people who believed in their potential. They had wide eyes and were beaming with sincere joy. One of my sweet little ones whispered \"and they don't even know us ...\". That moment right there was the truest impact! What an incredible opportunity this has been to not only recieve gifts for the classroom but to also show in real time how connections and generosity can change everything. \r\n\r\nOur very first STEAM challenge was built right in to receiving the donations. As we opened the boxes. We worked together to build the paper sorters and engineered a spot in the classroom that was strong enough to hold all the paper we received.\r\n\r\nYour kindness didn't just stock our shelves; it infused our space with joy, excitement, curiosity and introduced them to a world full of people cheering them on.
