Chess and tic-tac-toe games have been used as a means of resolving disputes. As a result, they have been able to discuss more than just arguments. Several students have been interested in joining in conversation and becoming involved.\r\n\r\nThere has been a great deal of excitement among my ELL students about reading new books. It has already been requested more of the series and a few more books so that they can learn English. It is fascinating to watch students read the same book in two different languages before having a conversation about them. My students have created a book clue as a way to read and discuss the books they have read. \r\n\r\nWhen all the new materials were brought into the class, the students were thrilled. Many of my students were excited to know that we were receiving these new supplies. My students got right to work with getting all the magazines out of the old holders and started to decide which ones they wanted in the new ones.
