Students have been thoroughly enjoying our new materials! During our fantasy reading unit, students enjoyed the new sets of books that they were able to read in book clubs with their classmates. Students were so excited about the new choices and this spurred rich conversations about characters and life lessons within the stories they were reading. Student interest in reading has increased with these new books and I have even had parents tell me their kids who were not \"readers\" are now excited to read at home!\r\n\r\nStudents have also enjoyed our new classroom rug! Our new rug is so plush and comfortable, that students often choose to work on the floor rather than at their seats!
