The students were so excited to see the boxes arrive!\r\n\r\nStudents quickly began using our new math counting boxes. Each box has a different theme with numbered boards and math counters. Students were eager to see themes including airplanes, ladybugs, frogs, and treasure chests. As this arrived in time for St. Patrick's Day, we used the treasure chest box to count the \"leprechaun gold\".\r\n\r\nStudents have thoroughly enjoyed using the math light table manipulatives. Again, these have a variety of themes such as buttons, bugs, pattern blocks, and numbers. It is great to see students using these to count, make patterns, and make pictures using these manipulatives in the light table.
