The materials and supplies were used to \"Create an interacive Spanish classroom\". During the semester students worked in groups using the flashcards that reviewed colors, seasons, numbers, and Spanish phrases. Students were allowed to choose donated books to take the home to read. \r\n\r\nUsing the materials I received, students in Grades 3 created an \"All about me\" project. Students in grades 4 and 5 researched Spanish countries, and also created a project on their favorite Spanish country that included the flag of the country, the map of the country, special facts, and a recipe of a dish that is very popular in the country they selected. At the completion of the projects, parents were invited to the school to view their child's project. Students presented their projects to their parents. Parents stated that seeing what their children had done during the semester, made the visit to the school worthwhile. \r\n\r\nThank you again for everything you do for children throughout the country.
