The Who HQ biography series has opened the door to lessons on how individuals change the world through persistence and creativity. My fourth and fifth grade students are practicing research skills and comparing the accomplishments of scientists, inventors, and historical figures. These books have made nonfiction finally feel approachable. \r\n\r\nOur Who Would Win? series has been an instant favorite for my third grade students. I have been reading these aloud to start our lessons on endangered species. With each new fact about the animals, we take a vote on who would win. The students' votes often change depending on the new facts that are shared. \r\n\r\nAt this point, we have not used the Super STEM magazine yet because I only have the resource digitally. I am most excited about putting the real magazines in the hands of my students. Once the magazines arrive, I hope that students will be able to use them to spark curiosity and lead to great conversations about technology, engineering design, and real-world problem-solving.\r\n\r\nThank you for giving our readers access to resources that encourage exploration and build confidence.
