Now backed with knowledge from our lessons, students can immerse themselves in this significant historical period with the help of the main character—Nate. Nate is a young boy, about the same age as many of my 6th grade students, who finds himself in the middle of the Revolution. I can't wait to see the connection from fiction to historical fact. We have several book study activities we will be doing during the read to further anchor their learning. \r\n\r\nThank you for giving my classes this wonderful opportunity to learn about the birth of our country!
