I'm thrilled to share how your donation has already begun transforming our classroom and enriching the learning experience for my K–2 students.\r\n\r\nWith the addition of a larger monitor and an iPad, our math lessons have become more interactive, clear, and accessible for all students. The larger screen has made a big difference—now, even students in small group can easily see visual aids, math problems, and step-by-step examples without straining their eyes. This has led to more focused attention and better participation during lessons.\r\n\r\nThe dual-monitor setup has allowed me to teach more dynamically. While the main screen displays the core content—like number patterns or shapes—the second monitor shows interactive games or visual manipulatives that reinforce the lesson in real time. It's helped me meet students where they are by giving them multiple ways to understand a concept. The iPad, meanwhile, has been an incredible tool for both instruction and observation. I can walk around the room and engage with students individually while still accessing my teaching materials or taking notes on their progress—something that wasn't possible before.\r\n\r\nOne of the most exciting things for my students has been using the interactive apps during small-group activities. They light up when they see math concepts come to life through colorful visuals and playful games. For example, one student who was previously hesitant to participate in math discussions now eagerly explains her thinking when solving problems on the iPad. Another student who struggles with attention has shown noticeable improvement in focus when lessons include interactive elements on the large screen.\r\n\r\nThanks to your donation, technology is no longer just a background tool—it's a central part of how we connect, learn, and grow together. You've helped bring math to life for my students, and I'm so grateful for the joy and confidence you've helped spark in our classroom.\r\n\r\nWith heartfelt thanks,","fullyFundedDate":1733161733400,"projectUrl":"project/enhancing-student-learning-through-dual/8625319/","projectTitle":"Enhancing Student Learning Through Dual Monitors and Interactive Technology","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Gray","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp2087385_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1723403424368","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/crystal-gray"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_46104","usesÐǿմ«Ã½":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":521,"numTeachers":42,"percentFrplEligible":85,"percentAsian":1,"percentBlack":60,"percentWhite":16,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":15,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"12.4:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":70.5,"schoolId":46104,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Gregory Drive Elementary School on @Ðǿմ«Ã½:","schoolName":"Gregory Drive Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/florida/duval-county-public-schools/gregory-drive-elementary-school/46104"}
