My students were so excited to see the boxes arrive. Our circle time the next morning was all about unboxing our new materials and explaining how the items would help us in the room. I felt like this got the student more engaged while using the items.\r\n Although we did not get to use the materials extensively because it was May and school was over by the end of the month, these materials helped us navigate the last few weeks of end-of-year chaos. My students especially loved using the Hand 2 Mind Alphabet trays. They also got a big kick out of the mesh plastic sheets for rubbing their sight words on.\r\n I am thrilled to use the sandpaper alphabet cards at the beginning of this school year. I know the multisensory approach to identifying letters will be a faster method to solidify letter recognition for my students. Any type of support is always appreciated, but this project was very important for me to be able to add some useful materials to my classroom.
