With the materials you helped provide, the school counselor and I were able to start a boys' group for students with disabilities, focusing on building social skills and emotional regulation. These sessions have already given students a safe space to learn, share, and practice positive interactions.\r\n\r\nThe sensory objects purchased through this project have also been a tremendous support. Multiple students with autism have used them to calm themselves when feeling distressed or overwhelmed at school. These tools are not only helping students regulate their emotions in the moment but also teaching them strategies they can use throughout their lives.\r\n\r\nMost importantly, our students are excited, engaged, and already beginning to grow, both socially and emotionally.
