Helping support our STEM resources needs has given my students more opportunity to think critically, problem-solve, and work cooperatively with each other. \r\n\r\nIt has been wonderful to see the students get so excited about different projects/challengers and share their ideas and thinking! Most recently, we made \"Candy Corn Catapults\" and \"Turkey Pens\" (houses for the turkeys so they can't run away). While I provided my own example for each project, the students had free-reign and could design their projects however they wanted. I was so impressed by their thinking, creativity, and perseverance when trying something that didn't work and trying again until they got their desired results. We tied in math concepts like angles, shapes, and vertices. Even though most students range in age 5-7, they knew and could understand these concepts and how it affected their projects.\r\n\r\nThank you again!
