So, the weekly Science Word Wednesday vocabulary challenge gives students the opportunity to collaborate with their classmates using science vocabulary. It is a fun way to engage students in science inquiry. Although the first class to call in to the media center with the answer, is the winner, all students are winners when they're actively using science terminology. These prizes are a small incentive to keep those science conversations going in the classroom for the winning class and all students.
