My students grab a cushion every time they read. They find a comfy spot in the classroom and sit there for 30 minutes plus reading their books! The book bins in our classroom have allowed me to sort the books by genre - allowing students to easily access their favorite books and learn more about what kind of books they like. \r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw these materials they were thrilled! They couldn't wait to use the cushions. The books are organized by genre and the book bins help them stay like new. Students were excited to sort the books and keep them organized, which really helps a classroom library thrive! \r\n\r\nI would love to add more sets of books to my classroom. My students are obsessed with graphic novels and having more of these books easily accessible would be wonderful! They also love partner reading, so having more of one book would allow them to do their own book study. I would like to put more books in my wonderfully organized book bins in the future. \r\n\r\nI'm so thankful for these new additions in our classroom.","fullyFundedDate":1730834440193,"projectUrl":"project/for-the-love-of-reading/8503229/","projectTitle":"For the Love of Reading!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Fischer","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7960642_orig.jpg?crop=1511,1511,x0,y191&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1721237246845","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7960642"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_68767","usesÐǿմ«Ã½":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":503,"numTeachers":46,"percentFrplEligible":83,"percentAsian":1,"percentBlack":14,"percentWhite":17,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":63,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"10.9:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":65.2,"schoolId":68767,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Lawton Chiles Elementary School on @Ðǿմ«Ã½:","schoolName":"Lawton Chiles Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/florida/orange-county-public-schools/lawton-chiles-elementary-school/68767"}
