When our indoor recess games arrived, the students were so excited. They could not wait to open everything and look through all the games like Mancala, Uno, Checkers, Chutes and Ladders, Guess Who, and more. We talked about what it means to take care of things that belong to all of us and how to treat one another with kindness and respect while we play.\r\n\r\nWhen we have the opportunity to use them during indoor recess, I have already seen such a positive impact. Students are learning to take turns, communicate, solve disagreements calmly, and celebrate each other. We have had great conversations about sportsmanship, tone of voice, and using encouraging words. It has been so nice to watch them play together, laugh, share, and build stronger relationships.\r\n\r\nThese donations will continue to bring joy to rainy days and indoor recess for the rest of the year.
