Our class went from \"Zero to Hero\" with the contribution of the many book genres they have enjoyed. Some of the sets include: Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Magic Tree House, and Who Would Win? \r\n\r\nBeing at a school with no library/media center is an everyday challenge for students and teachers alike. Because of this, the donation to our classroom library was critical. My students are now able to choose from fiction or non-fiction books, along with longer or shorter chapter books. With these books, I have also been able to reinforce ELA standards such as figurative language, main idea, and author's purpose. \r\n\r\nAgain, thank you for responding to and fulfilling my second graders' needs. Being able to give the students tangible choices with hardcopy books has benefited the entire class.
