This rug has already transformed our learning space into a warm, welcoming environment where my first graders can gather for lessons, stories, and community time. It's more than just a rug—it's a place where students feel safe, connected, and ready to learn.\r\n\r\nYour kindness has made a real difference in our daily routine. My students are so excited to have a bright, comfortable spot to come together each day, and I can already see how it's helping them focus and engage in learning. This gift will continue to support not only my current class, but many future groups of students who will sit, learn, and grow on this rug.\r\n\r\nFrom the bottom of my heart, thank you for supporting our classroom. The bean bags are big and beautiful and so comfortable. The children are really loving them. They add a lot to our library area. \r\n At Open House, when the students got to see our fabulous library for the first time, they were very excited to try out the bean bags. Even some of my teacher friends were admiring them. \r\n The students look forward to spending time reading daily while sitting in the lovely beanbags that you so graciously blessed is with.","fullyFundedDate":1750774683809,"projectUrl":"project/seating-for-reading/9385635/","projectTitle":"Seating for Reading","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Strunk","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-2_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/3933743"},{"teacherId":9971522,"projectId":9390924,"letterContent":"Our new rug has quickly become our favorite part in our classroom! We use it every single day for morning meeting, read-alouds, partner work, and so much more! The kids love having their own cozy smiley spot, and it helps us stay organized while still feeling like one big team.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the rug, their reaction was priceless! There were lots of big smiles, excited whispers, and a few happy squeals! Several asked right away if we could sit down and start using it. It instantly made our classroom feel warmer and more welcoming, and the kids could tell it was something really special just for them.\r\n\r\nIn first grade, I like to spend a lot of time with my littles on the carpet and this one has truly made our learning feel more fun while keeping us all together. My students were SO excited when they noticed all the new supplies in the classroom. The looks on all of their little faces when they saw the new mobile whiteboard made my teacher heart so happy. They have loved getting to learn with it! We have been doing Camp Read A Lot this week, and the mobile whiteboard has been a perfect addition to our classroom to model expectations and show activities to the students, regardless of where they are sitting. \r\n\r\nThe pencil sharpener has been amazing!! It automatically sharpens pencils. When the kiddos put one in, it pushes it out when it is ready. This is perfect for my little first graders who are not sure when to take the pencils out. The mini pencils, too, have been perfect for my students who struggle to hold a pencil, since they are lighter. They have also loved earning desk pets (erasers) when they have been following directions. \r\n\r\nAs this school year wraps up, I am so excited to hang up the new clock and teach time all throughout the next school year. Visually, it will help students get the hang of learning time with the hour and minute hand. I also can't wait to use the whiteboard at centers and be able to take and print pictures of their hard work to hang up. This summer, I will use all the laminate to make new center activities for my incoming first graders. \r\n\r\nI truly cannot say thank you enough.
