Your donation is making a meaningful difference for students who rely on sensory supports to remain engaged, focused, and comfortable throughout the school day.\r\n\r\nBecause of you, our classroom is now equipped with essential sensory resources like sensory fidget tools, adaptive seating, sensory bins, weighted items, calming lighting, tactile materials, hands-on learning activities, and a crash pad that provides vital sensory input and experiences. These tools help students regulate their emotions, improve their attention, and build independence by providing them with strategies to manage overstimulation or frustration.\r\n\r\nYour kindness allows us to create an inclusive learning environment where all students can meaningfully participate, access the curriculum, and work toward their academic, social, and behavioral goals. My students are so excited to use their new sensory kits, kinetic sand, and cloud clay! You have it made it possible for each child to have access to these items for their daily brain breaks ! My students know how to share, but it makes it harder to rotate resources when you don't have enough , and now because of your generosity they do not have to wait to get their hands on the clay and kinetic sand! \r\n There are so many benefits for children from using kinetic sand and moldable cloud clay and I love watching my students get so excited to use these new resources. Some of the benefits include developing their fine motor skills, helping them explore and have that sensory experience, to creative play and fostering creativity, and lastly the therapeutic and calming effect they experience when playing with these new items you have generously donated to our class! Last Friday we were able to \"air\" our first episode and it was a huge hit!\r\n\r\nThis technology allowed my students to practice speaking in front of an audience. They were able to film and edit the videos (with a little help) and many who are very shy were eager to take part in the project! The students who don't want to be on screen are helping behind the scenes. I have them picking appropriate music, writing scripts, and helping set up the filming area. This truly is a project that everyone can be part of.\r\n\r\nWe have named our school news network The Wildcat Watch. One student even wrote in her gratitude journal, \"I'm grateful for The Wildcat Watch. Every time I hear the name I feel excitement. This project has provided so many amazing resources that have already made a huge impact on our students.\r\n\r\nOne of the highlights has been the Bluetooth microphone, which has made presentations, poetry slams, and classroom celebrations so much more engaging! The students absolutely love using it, and it helps focus attention on the speaker, giving everyone the chance to shine. Plus, the added bonus of gold LED lights and funny voice enhancements has really boosted their confidence—students are eager to take the stage!\r\n\r\nWe also received some wonderful painting materials to replenish our supplies, and it's been such a treat to watch the kids get creative with their art. I feel so fortunate to be able to offer these artistic experiences, and we truly appreciate the new paintbrushes and paper!\r\n\r\nAdditionally, the shrinking plastic papers have been a huge hit. The students used them to create sweet notes on key chains as gifts for their parents, and I'm sure those gifts were a big success!\r\n\r\nLastly, I'm excited about the new classroom incentive program featuring Rattlesnake Jake! When students demonstrate their best effort in class, I select them to pick a gold nugget. Each nugget is numbered, and at the end of the day, I draw a number, and the student with the matching nugget gets to choose a prize. This program has been a great way to encourage students and keep them motivated.\r\n\r\nThank you once again for all your help and support.
