The kids and I definitely had a BLAST and it made for the perfect end to a great school year! I wish you could have heard students' excitement at watching that first rocket launch... it was something special!\r\n\r\nHowever, as fun as launching the rockets was, I particularly enjoyed watching the kids struggle to build the rockets. Kids these days don't get many opportunities to build real and tangible things with their hands. To successfully build these rockets, students had to translate a sheet of cryptic directions into action. They had to make accurate measurements and place components carefully and intentionally. They had to use patience as they waited for glue to dry. And the struggle was real! But you should have seen the look of pride and joy on their faces as they watched their carefully-crafted rocket blast into the clouds, sometimes never to be seen again!\r\n\r\nSo thank you again for your support.
