The tumbler press and vinyl have made a huge difference in how our students learn and engage with hands-on technology. While many of our students are familiar with using technology at home, this equipment shows them how technology can be used as a creative and practical tool in a school setting. Students are learning to design, measure, problem-solve, and follow multi-step processes as they create real products from start to finish. They're not just pressing buttons, they're thinking critically, revising designs, and taking pride in producing something tangible they can use or gift to others.\r\n\r\nWhat excites students most is seeing their ideas come to life. Designing their own decals and pressing them onto tumblers and other items feels meaningful and \"real-world\" to them. The instant transformation from a digital design to a finished, professional-looking product is incredibly motivating. Students are eager to experiment with colors, fonts, and layouts, and they love that each item is unique and personal.\r\n\r\nSeveral students who don't always shine in traditional academic settings have especially connected with this technology. These students have shown increased confidence, focus, and creativity when working with the tumbler press and vinyl. For some, it's the first time they've felt truly successful at school. They've taken on leadership roles by helping classmates troubleshoot designs or operate the equipment, building both technical skills and self-confidence. Thanks to this donation, our students are gaining valuable creative and practical skills while discovering new ways to express themselves.","fullyFundedDate":1765424639797,"projectUrl":"project/screen-dreams-interactive-learning-thro/9882552/","projectTitle":"Screen Dreams: Interactive Learning Through Touch & STEM","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. McDowney","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9797052_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1755652958019","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9797052"},{"teacherId":9989832,"projectId":9641343,"letterContent":"Thanks to your generous donation, our classroom has been positively transformed. The printer and ink you provided have become essential tools that support learning, creativity, and student confidence every day. While many donors may be familiar with using printers at home, in a classroom setting this technology plays a much larger role in helping students engage with lessons and take ownership of their learning.\r\n\r\nThe printer allows students to immediately apply what they are learning. Students use it to print writing assignments, research projects, math practice, graphic organizers, and visual learning supports. Having consistent access to printed materials keeps instruction flowing smoothly and prevents learning interruptions. Students no longer have to wait or share limited resources, which allows them to stay focused and engaged. This accessibility supports organization, reinforces lessons, and meets the needs of a wide range of learners.\r\n\r\nWhat excites students most is seeing their work turn into a finished product. Printing their writing, artwork, and projects makes learning feel meaningful and real. Students feel proud when they can hold their work, share it with classmates, or take it home to show their families. This excitement has increased motivation across the classroom, especially for students who previously struggled with confidence. When students see their work presented neatly and clearly, they are more willing to revise, improve, and try new challenges.\r\n\r\nSeveral students have especially benefited from this new technology. One student who once avoided writing has become more enthusiastic about completing assignments because they know their final work will be printed and shared. Another student who learns best visually benefits from printed charts, diagrams, and step-by-step examples that help reinforce concepts. Students with learning differences have also gained support through customized printed materials, such as structured templates, enlarged text, and individualized practice sheets designed to meet their needs.\r\n\r\nBeyond academic growth, the printer has helped students build responsibility and collaboration skills. They are learning how to prepare documents carefully, proofread their work, and respect shared classroom resources. Students often work together to organize and present their projects, strengthening communication and teamwork skills that will benefit them beyond the classroom.\r\n\r\nYour donation has made learning more accessible, engaging, and empowering for our students. The printer and ink have enhanced instruction, increased student motivation, and allowed every learner to feel proud of their work. We are truly grateful for your support and generosity. Because of you, our students have the tools they need to succeed and grow with confidence every day.\r\n\r\nThank you again for your support!","fullyFundedDate":1761928532105,"projectUrl":"project/printing-for-a-purpose-student-led-serv/9641343/","projectTitle":"Printing for a Purpose: Student-Led Service Through Design","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Jones","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-7_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9989832"},{"teacherId":9797052,"projectId":9641168,"letterContent":"Thank you so very much for your support in donating to my student's project dreams. This project had a meaningful impact on my students' learning by allowing them to engage with hands-on, creative activities that deepened their understanding and ownership of their work. With access to the printer and sublimation ink, students were able to bring their ideas to life in a tangible way—transforming digital designs into real products they could hold, analyze, and improve. This not only strengthened their technical skills, but also boosted their confidence and motivation in the classroom.\r\n\r\nThe materials provided made it possible for me to introduce new project-based lessons that wouldn't have been achievable otherwise. We were able to produce high-quality visuals, personalized items, and classroom resources that supported both individual and group learning goals.\r\n\r\nI am truly grateful for the support from The Allstate Foundation, whose generosity expanded what teaching and learning could look like in my classroom. Their contribution directly enriched my students' educational experience and opened the door to creative opportunities that will continue to benefit them throughout the school year.","fullyFundedDate":1760971565489,"projectUrl":"project/future-innovators-learning-it-and-indus/9641168/","projectTitle":"Future Innovators: Learning It and Industry Skills Through Student-Led Projects","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. McDowney","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9797052_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1755652958019","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9797052"},{"teacherId":9797052,"projectId":9488069,"letterContent":"The new refrigerator has been such a wonderful addition to our classroom at Murphey Middle School! It was a moment of pure joy—some even asked if it was \"really for us!\" The Slushie machine has quickly become a favorite, and we've already found creative ways to incorporate it into our learning environment.\r\n\r\nOne of our recent projects involved a math lesson on ratios and measurements, where students created their own slushie recipes.
