When I first started this class with them, I had 7 students out of 26 who were asking or waiting to become of age to drop out. At the end of the school year, I had zero. They were so excited to help me open the packages as they arrived. \r\nMost of my students are now looking at scholarships and colleges that they can attend. Receiving all of the college pennants and posting them up in my classroom acted as a great visual for the students, and they were excited to take them home at the end of the year. Without this project and the wonderful donations, I don't think the impact on these students would have been as great.
