Your contribution is more than a gift—it's an investment in our children's curiosity, imagination, and love of learning.\r\n\r\nBecause of your support, our students now have access to new stories, new worlds, and new opportunities to grow as readers. During the first quarter, book checkouts in our library were up 17% compared to last year. Access to new books truly excites the students and inspires them to read.\r\n\r\nThank you for believing in the power of education and for helping us build a vibrant, welcoming library that every child can enjoy. Your kindness has made a meaningful difference in our school community, and we are deeply grateful.","fullyFundedDate":1760706777264,"projectUrl":"project/finish-the-story/9620478/","projectTitle":"Finish the Story!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Rych","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-8_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10187275"},{"teacherId":440588,"projectId":8524526,"letterContent":"We are absolutely amazed at the difference this circle time rug has made for our class! Students no longer feel the desire to run around our circle time area. \r\n\r\nPrior to using this rug, students had a giant rug with a giant space to fit it. This space was much too large and encouraged students to run around, chase each other, and roll on the rug. With the smaller rug, students simply don't have the space to engage in these behaviors. The smaller rug encourages students to sit calmly and attend to instruction.\r\n\r\nThey feel safe and calm in our smaller space with our smaller rug. There is room for adaptive seating, as well as seating on the rug. Students have their own personal space and have been much more attentive during instruction. The kids can access the library books much more easily and can move about the room without tripping. My resource kids with walkers, stands, wheelchairs and wagons can also move about the library with more ease and much less jarring bumps into chairs, tables, and shelves. \r\n\r\nMy older classes were especially excited when they saw the new tables because now I have 8 smaller tables instead of 6 larger ones which means they all can fit at a table. No more having one or two students sitting by themselves on a stool or on the floor. Now every student can participate in our lesson or read their books comfortably in a chair at a table. \r\n\r\nThe new tables are expecially important now because we have some exciting lessons coming up on Robotics. It will be so nice to have all the students participate and be able to see what's going on at each table.
