The laptop will positively impact my students because it will safe me time and efficiency.\r\nAs a teacher dedicated to my students success, a significant part of the role involves managing detailed Individualized Education Program (IEP) documents. The outdated equipment being used was a constant source of frustration, often slowing down the process of writing reports and collaborating with the team. \r\nThis new laptop completely eliminated those challenges. The paperwork can be completed with greater speed and accuracy, which in turn frees up precious time that can be devoted to instructional planning, creating differentiated materials, and giving one-on-one attention to students.\r\nThe support has made a great difference by helping streamline workflow. It is very much appreciated!!\r\nWorking with special needs students is always a challenge, but also very rewarding. Every student learns differently. What works for one may not work for another. Many of my students learn best when they can see a realistic picture related to what they are working on. This is when colored ink comes in handy. It is amazing how a realistic colored visual makes such a difference verses just a black and white when it comes to grasping a concept that is being taught.\r\nPaperwork and organization is also a must when dealing with special education. The folders and envelopes are a necessity ! The large envelopes come in handy when paperwork has to be mailed to parents.
