Yes, they get out of class (their goal every day!) but some have started trying to figure out how to build with the perler beads, taking the project farther than I thought they would! Unfortunately they lost use of their legs, not allowing them to utilize a sewing machine. When they showed interest in sewing club in the fall, I was so excited. But I quickly realized that we would need to get creative to allow them use of a sewing machine, as they are completely unable to use their legs. \r\nCurrently, other students in the building have been able to use the machine and it has been amazing to see them get excited. Unfortunately, our student who would most benefit from the machine has been out of school due to an injury.
