From the moment the items came in the kids lit up and have enjoyed using them every single day. The weighted blankets and weighted animal have been a blessing during circle time and independent work stations. The sensory blocks are across my classroom and everytime someone walks in or out of my classroom they hopskotch across the mats. They love how the gel in the tiles move as their feet tough it. The large octagon shape allows multiple children to play with materials at the same time. This allows students to develop skills such as: fine motor coordination, turn taking, expressing language, problem solving, creativity, regulating calming behavior, cooperative learning and pure excitement for learning.
