It is now January 2026, and every donation is still in use daily at our school. We often use the sensory room to help students decompress and refocus. It is s space that they feel safe to explore to help them be successful in the classroom. Many students have walked into this space for the first time simply saying, \"Wow!\" as they scan the room. For those who do not speak yet, they have showed their gratitude through eagerly using the equipment with a smile. There is something beneficial for every student in this space which makes it so special. \r\n\r\nThe next steps for this project have been to provide sensory materials that our teachers can bring to their classrooms for use. Many of these materials include alternative seating and sensory bins.
