My students enjoy this book from year to year as it provides a story of children who have less than ideal home situations and are placed into a foster home together. It teaches them to have empathy for others who often have stories that no one at school know about. \r\nLikewise, the novel Four Perfect Pebbles is written by a survivor of the Holocaust. I have personally heard her speak twice. Students are drawn into the story by the true to life accounts of the terrible conditions the author survived as well as her triumphant later life. Year after year, Tamaroa Grade School students talk fondly of the novels they have read together in my classes. I'm happy to have new books to continue the tradition.","fullyFundedDate":1744206645423,"projectUrl":"project/class-sets-for-my-classy-students/9239116/","projectTitle":"Class Sets for My Classy Students!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Opp","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp5286540_orig.png?crop=868,868,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1673314227310","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/5286540"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_29969","usesÐǿմ«Ã½":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":92,"numTeachers":9,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":1,"percentBlack":4,"percentWhite":92,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":1,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"K - 8","studentTeacherRatio":"10.2:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"RURAL","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_DISTANT"},"inStateSupporters":71.9,"schoolId":29969,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Tamaroa Elementary School on @Ðǿմ«Ã½:","schoolName":"Tamaroa Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/illinois/tamaroa-elementary-school-district-5/tamaroa-elementary-school/29969"}
