We use it in the morning to greet one another, share ideas, and start our day together. During read alouds, students feel more engaged while they are cozy and comfortable on the rug. Students also gather on the carpet to view lesson media from a closer vantage point so they don't miss any details. The rug is our central meeting space for our classroom. Several students slid into the rug and rolled around, enjoying the comfort. The new rug is both aesthetically pleasing and comfortable. The students have enjoyed having space to spread out while listening to stories, have plenty of body space, and like the cushion while sitting on the floor. \r\nI am so grateful for each of your donations and continued support of the classroom. The students created leprechaun traps, fairy homes, dragon nests, and contraptions that allowed them to hold on to magic. \r\n\r\nThis space will be a wonderful addition to our maker space for years to come.
