When the colored pens, sticker paper, heat gun, and lamination sheets arrived, my students were immediately buzzing with ideas. As soon as they realized they would be designing their own stickers and shrinky dinks, the room filled with gasps, smiles, and rapid brainstorming. One student said, \"Wait... we get to actually make these?\" That moment alone showed me how powerful your generosity was going to be.\r\n\r\nWe have been using the materials to design custom stickers that represent student interests, school pride, and positive messages. Students drafted their designs, revised them thoughtfully, and then printed and cut their creations on sticker paper. Watching them carefully use the heat gun to transform their shrinky dinks was unforgettable — they were amazed as their artwork shrank and thickened into durable keepsakes. It turned into a natural lesson in design thinking, patience, and problem-solving. The lamination sheets have also allowed us to preserve important student work and classroom visuals, reinforcing that their learning and creativity matter enough to protect.\r\n\r\nNext, students will be applying these same tools to create branded materials for real-world projects connected to our school and community. They are learning how design, creativity, and craftsmanship can serve a purpose beyond the classroom. Because of you, they are not only completing assignments, but also creating, experimenting, and seeing their ideas come to life in tangible ways. Thank you for opening the door to hands-on learning and giving my students the opportunity to experience the joy of making something real.","fullyFundedDate":1765142952697,"projectUrl":"project/sparking-creativity-one-sticker-at-a-tim/9915037/","projectTitle":"Sparking Creativity One Sticker at a Time","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. D.","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp4043420_orig.png?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1765393804100","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/4043420"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_51240","usesÐǿմ«Ã½":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":176,"numTeachers":17,"percentFrplEligible":39,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":1,"percentWhite":90,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":5,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"9 - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"10.4:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"RURAL","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_DISTANT"},"inStateSupporters":56.5,"schoolId":51240,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Clayton Ridge High School on @Ðǿմ«Ã½:","schoolName":"Clayton Ridge High School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/iowa/clayton-ridge-community-school-district/clayton-ridge-high-school/51240"}
