My 7th grade math students were incredibly excited when they saw the new dry erase markers, erasers, and writing tools neatly organized and ready for use. Several students immediately asked, \"Are these really for us?\" The joy on their faces and the relief of having fresh, reliable supplies was truly special to witness. These materials have already made our daily routines smoother and our learning more interactive.\r\n\r\nMy students use the dry erase boards and markers during warm-ups, collaborative problem-solving, and math talks. One of the most memorable moments so far was during a lesson on solving multi-step equations. Students worked in small groups using the new markers to show their process, erase misconceptions, and try again without hesitation. The ability to revise their work quickly made students more confident and willing to take academic risks. The pencils and erasers have also become a staple during independent practice, ensuring every student has what they need to stay engaged.\r\n\r\nAs we continue exploring proportional reasoning and preparing for our next unit, these tools will remain at the center of our instruction. Your donation has not only provided materials, but has also helped create a classroom environment where students feel supported, capable, and excited to learn. Thank you for investing in my students and believing in their potential. We are deeply grateful for your kindness.","fullyFundedDate":1758374143399,"projectUrl":"project/write-erase-repeat-tools-for-growing/9715374/","projectTitle":"Write, Erase, Repeat: Tools for Growing Minds","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Taylor","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-3_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10262145"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_57407","usesÐǿմ«Ã½":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":578,"numTeachers":39,"percentFrplEligible":84,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":42,"percentWhite":25,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":23,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"6 - 8","studentTeacherRatio":"14.8:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":50.6,"schoolId":57407,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Brooks Center for STEM and the Arts Magnet Middle School on @Ðǿմ«Ã½:","schoolName":"Brooks Center for STEM and the Arts Magnet Middle School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/kansas/wichita-public-schools/brooks-tech-arts-magnet-ms/57407"}
