The donation you have made has improved my ability to teach and each student's ability to learn tremendously! This is my first year teaching 3rd grade, so I am finding lots of new obstacles, and the TPT gift cards and the carpet have helped me become a better teacher this year. \r\n\r\nThe carpet has helped with daily engagement more than I expected. The students LOVE having the opportunity to stretch out while we are reading. The are often begging to be chosen as one of the 'lucky' students of the day to get to learn while lying on the carpet. It has also helped to make indoor recess more comfortable while playing games. \r\n\r\nMy favorite donation was the gift card. As a teacher, I work to find opportunities to incorporate student interest into their learning. When we returned after the new year, we set goals and wrote about our goals on 'Pop-Tarts'. That was one of my first purchases with the gift card. They loved getting the opportunity to create a craft while setting goals! My favorite purchase was a unit on writing. My students have struggled with writing complete sentences independently. We have been working through the sentence writing unit I purchased, and I am so pleased with the improvement. Sentence fragments and run-on sentences have decreased, while proper sentences with more precise vocabulary has increased. ALL of this is because of your generous donation! The resources will continue to be used for several years. Truly, I cannot thank you enough. I would never have been able to afford all of these items without your generosity.","fullyFundedDate":1762545093092,"projectUrl":"project/from-our-rug-to-the-page-writing-our-ow/9754833/","projectTitle":"From Our Rug to the Page: Writing Our Own Stories","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Ruble","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10277188_orig.png?crop=215,215,x0,y4&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1758675110047","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10277188"},{"teacherId":10110687,"projectId":9531731,"letterContent":"My students and I love our new resources that we received. The students absolutely love the classroom rug and carpet sweeper. When they walked in our classroom and saw the rug for the first time, they ran to it, sat down, laid down, talked about how comfy it was, and couldn't stop talking about how cute it was. Several elementary teachers are getting rid of rugs and they haven't had one in a couple of years. It really was a nice surprise to them to have one again. Thank you so much for making our classroom feel more like home. \r\nWe use our rug daily. They love having a spot to go to when reading or working on chromebooks. We also use this space to share our work. We have laminate flooring, so the rug gives them a nice cozy spot to learn and read. Our favorite thing is to go to carpet all together as a class and the kids listen while I read to them. They are very prideful and love taking care of the rug. I actually had to create a system where everyone gets a turn sweeping with our new carpet sweeper, because they all love helping so much. \r\nThis is my first year in this classroom, so I do not have a lot of materials. My next steps for my students is learning about Earth science, physical science, and space science. I hope to get more supplies to help teach them these things with a more hands on approach.","fullyFundedDate":1757600308703,"projectUrl":"project/this-is-our-happy-place/9531731/","projectTitle":"This is our Happy Place","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Blythe","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-4_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10110687"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_57842","usesÐǿմ«Ã½":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":387,"numTeachers":26,"percentFrplEligible":89,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":5,"percentWhite":80,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":2,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"3 - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"14.9:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"RURAL","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_FRINGE"},"inStateSupporters":81.8,"schoolId":57842,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Caldwell County Elementary School on @Ðǿմ«Ã½:","schoolName":"Caldwell County Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/kentucky/caldwell-county-school-district/caldwell-co-elementary-school/57842"}
