It is wonderful people like you that help school teachers to be able to give exciting learning opportunities within the classroom. \r\n\r\n Your donations have helped us receive colored pencils and art necessities to bring our art project/ writing pieces to life. We use these for every piece that we hang in the hall. People always enjoy seeing the students work.\r\n\r\n We also were able to receive a headphone speaker that has been a lifesaver during our book studies. It makes it clear for all to hear every word. We have also used it for our Writer's Corner in which students were able to read aloud their own personal narratives and feel like a real author. This really helped them with their listening and speaking. They loved it!\r\n Once again, thank you for helping us have the opportunity to make school projects even more fun and enjoyable.","fullyFundedDate":1756617354742,"projectUrl":"project/project-supplies/9369708/","projectTitle":"Project Supplies","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Buckman","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-5_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9891888"},{"teacherId":9891888,"projectId":9052561,"letterContent":"My students have loved all of the new book choices. My students and I are extremely grateful for your contributions. When I received the package of stools, I had a huge smile on my face, simply by looking at my students' reactions. They were curious and eager to know what was inside the brown box. When I opened the stools, they wanted to know if they could sit in them right then!\r\nMy students are using these new stools for small groups during reading stations. Students can easily leave their desk, walk to a stool, and sit down without having to carry their own chair with them. Students are able to transition much quicker, which allows for more instruction time. \r\nOnce again, my students and I sincerely thank you for your contribution. Students have been hard at work for the past few months collaborating to design and draw their maps. This has been an excellent opportunity for students who are more artistically minded to take an interest in a STEM activity. \r\n\r\nI have been thoroughly impressed by the creativity students have expressed through this project. Some groups have created maps, such as mazes, that require precision with coding the Sphero. Others have used Sphero as a character in a story that travels around the map.\r\n\r\nStudents are being challenged with the actual coding of the Spheros, as there is a bit of a learning curve. This is good in some ways, as it is requiring them to think outside of the box and rethink the ways they approach problems, strengthening their problem-solving abilities.","fullyFundedDate":1731541189583,"projectUrl":"project/sphero-hero/8929281/","projectTitle":"Sphero Hero","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. West","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9830337_orig.jpg?crop=1999,2000,x0,y126&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1731105201616","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9830337"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_75087","usesÐǿմ«Ã½":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":445,"numTeachers":31,"percentFrplEligible":91,"percentAsian":1,"percentBlack":1,"percentWhite":76,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":13,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"K - 6","studentTeacherRatio":"14.4:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"TOWN","ncesMetroType":"TOWN_DISTANT"},"inStateSupporters":78.7,"schoolId":75087,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Central Elementary School on @Ðǿմ«Ã½:","schoolName":"Central Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/kentucky/graves-county-school-district/central-elementary-school/75087"}
