The racks will be used to hang clothes on using the hangers. They will work with the secretary to organize the clothes, so the students feel comfortable when they have to get new or gently used clothes. The bins will be used to store any extra clothes that can't fit on the racks. My students will display these characteristics through the form of showing other students how to crochet when they are in need of warmth and care. Crocheting is very calming and relaxing, so the students will help others by doing this activity with them, and making sure they are expressing their emotions and concerns to relieve the burden.\r\n\r\nStudents are very alert and aware when they see others are suffering from something.\r\nMy students will show other students how to crochet blankets and other items to help relieve some stress. Plus, they will on occasion make blankets, cup holders, or bookmarks. They will need yarn, sign holders to display kind thoughts, crochet kit, and a bookshelf to hold all the materials. The hygiene refresher will make the students feel comfortable in school and perform better in the classroom.\r\n\r\nThe students will have hygiene kits fill with the essentials for others.\r\nThe students will make these kits from the wet wipes, lotion, hand soap, sanitizer, bar soap and wash clothes. Students use their knowledge of plant parts, as well as their developing scientific drawing skills.\r\n\r\nIn the Engineer Lab, students follow a design process to create tools to mimic the function of seed dispersal and pollination. This task is aligned to the following science and engineering practice: Develop a simple model that mimics the function of an animal in dispersing seeds or pollinating plants. Students read about and experiment with different methods of seed dispersal, providing knowledge to make strategic choices as they design a model.\r\n\r\nIn the Explore Lab, students work with the teacher to plan and execute an investigation about plant growth and survival. This task allows students to plan and conduct an investigation to determine if plants need sunlight and water to grow. When they first saw the jerseys with their logo and numbers, their excitement was unforgettable and they immediately began talking about what number they hoped to wear and how proud they felt to put on their school colors. Wearing the jerseys has helped them take greater ownership of their behavior, effort, and teamwork on the court.\r\n\r\nHaving matching jerseys has also elevated our practices and games by making them more structured and professional. I can now run organized drills, assign positions more clearly, and teach offensive and defensive strategies in a way that mirrors real game situations. Students are learning not only basketball skills, but also responsibility, communication, and sportsmanship. One of our first practices with the new basketballs turned into an impromptu skills circuit, and I watched students encourage one another as they worked on ball control and layups together.\r\n\r\nWhen the students saw the new basketballs for the first time, their faces lit up with excitement and pride. They immediately began organizing themselves into teams and asked if they could start practice early. Having real team equipment has made them feel like true athletes, not just students in a gym class. Their confidence has grown, and so has their willingness to try new skills without fear of failure.\r\n\r\nNow, we are using these basketballs to build structured team practices focused on fundamentals, sportsmanship, and game strategy.
