My students were so excited to see the 3d printer set up and ready to use. I started by making a bunch of mini 3d fidgets that students could earn throughout the trimester for earning student of the class as part of my behavior program. This has been a huge hit in the classroom and the students are excited to try and earn these prizes. This has also helped me be able to give many students prizes without having to spend a ton of my own money on silly prizes that the kids don't like.\r\n Last year student kept asking to 3d print however we didn't have a working 3d printer this year I am actually able to let them 3d print and they are so excited. So far the only ones that have been able to use it are my 6th grades as the process takes a while to get to the actual printing part and I am working with one grade at a time. 6th grade has truly enjoyed being able to be creative in their designs and seeing their designs come to life in the printing. none of this would have been possible without the help of all of you. \r\n I cannot wait to continue to show off all the hard work students are doing with the 3d printers and continue to grow their knowledge and experience as many of the donors are in district I hope that you are able to hear and see what students are able to create tanks o your generous support.","fullyFundedDate":1761933025545,"projectUrl":"project/technology-wizards-in-training/9639961/","projectTitle":"Technology Wizards in Training","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. LeClair","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp1811862_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1615930474482","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/1811862"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_65195","usesÐǿմ«Ã½":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":275,"numTeachers":21,"percentFrplEligible":26,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":2,"percentWhite":90,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":3,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"3 - 6","studentTeacherRatio":"13.1:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"RURAL","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_DISTANT"},"inStateSupporters":80.2,"schoolId":65195,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Turner Elementary School on @Ðǿմ«Ã½:","schoolName":"Turner Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/maine/rsu-52-msad-52/turner-elementary-school/65195"}
