Your generosity allowed the purchase of climbing equipment, a beanbag chair, and a spinning chair. All of these items were incorporated into an area of my classroom called \"The Movement Zone,\" which offers my students a safe place to climb and move instead of climbing on furniture and shelving.\r\n\r\nNeedless to say, my students were thrilled when they saw the new pieces of equipment. Almost all of them have sensory-seeking behaviors, so these items offer them a safe place to obtain sensory input. To keep the climbing pieces together and on the floor, I used heavy-duty Velcro to attach them to a small area rug. The Velcro is very strong, and so far, the pieces have remained in place.\r\n\r\nUndoubtedly, \"The Movement Zone\" is the most popular area of my classroom. While most students enjoy it while on the go, some like to sit on the beanbag chair with a stuffed animal and a book. Thanks to your generosity, these items have added a whole new dimension to my classroom. I cannot thank you enough.","fullyFundedDate":1726696992557,"projectUrl":"project/help-little-learners-climb-spin-and-re/8784782/","projectTitle":"Help Little Learners Climb, Spin, and Relax","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Leonard","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9727957_orig.jpg?crop=342,342,x0,y192&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1726429131145","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9727957"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_64125","usesÐǿմ«Ã½":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":530,"numTeachers":35,"percentFrplEligible":71,"percentAsian":4,"percentBlack":38,"percentWhite":22,"percentIndigenous":1,"percentLatinx":23,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"15.1:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":70.4,"schoolId":64125,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Freetown Elementary School on @Ðǿմ«Ã½:","schoolName":"Freetown Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/maryland/anne-arundel-county-public-schools/freetown-elementary-school/64125"}
